Terms and Conditions
(The Small Print You Should Actually Read)
Welcome to Tipple Tours! This is the part of the website where we set aside wine puns for a moment and talk seriously about the rules, refunds and responsibilities of joining one of our adventures. Yes, it’s important. Yes, you should read it. No, it’s not as fun as clinking glasses but it could save you problems later.
1. Plain English Promise
This is the small print, written without legal mumbo jumbo. It tells you when you might get a refund, when you might have to pay more and when you might need to call us with questions.
2. Who This Applies To
This is the official agreement between us (Tipple Tours) and you (the lovely client). It spells out both your rights and your obligations.
3. What We Do
We run adventure trips worldwide. All involve laughter.
4. Paying Up
You agree to pay deposits directly to us. The remaining balance is due 90 days before your trip starts. (Basically: pay on time or your trip may evaporate faster than sangria on a hot day.)
5. Deposits
No deposit, no adventure. No balance, no adventure. That’s how deposits work. Also: all deposits are non-refundable (yes, even if your horoscope told you not to travel).
6. Your Information
We’ll keep your personal info safe and only share it with people who help us run your trip. Think guides and providers.
7. Truth and Consequences
Everything you tell us must be true. Cancelling? Do it in writing, on time. Depending on when you cancel, you may still owe us money (details below).
8. Legal Bits
All trips are bound by UK law. If you have a claim, you’ll need to seek legal advice or speak to your insurer.
9. Booking
Booking is simple: fill out a form online, be over 18, pay a deposit. Easy.
10. Travel Insurance (Yes, You Need It)
You must have insurance. You must arrange your own flights. You must show up at the start point. Fail to do so and you may end up on your own mini “mystery tour” at your expense.
11. Itineraries
Itineraries are correct at the time of printing, but can change thanks to weather, politics or acts of vineyard dogs. Our leaders are trained to handle this.
12. Minimum Numbers
If too few people book, we may cancel. If so, you’ll get your money back (minus your deposit).
13. Adventure Acknowledgement
Our trips can involve challenges. You accept this risk. Have proper insurance. We’ll help with claims but you’re ultimately responsible.
14. Big Disasters Clause
If something extreme happens mid-trip (disaster, injury etc.) refunds are handled by your insurer, not us.
15. Fitness
Some tours require stamina. We may ask for a doctor’s note. If you can’t hack it, we reserve the right to decline your booking. (It’s for your safety, not because we’re mean.)
16. Flexibility Required
Trips may change. We’ll do our best to keep the spirit of the original itinerary intact but flexibility is key.
17. Complaints
Got a problem? Tell us. We’d rather solve it over tapas than read about it online later.
18. Flights
We don’t arrange flights or insurance. Airlines are your department. If your flight changes, that’s between you and your carrier.
19. Complaint Timing
Formal complaints must be made in writing within 28 days. Also tell your tour leader during the trip so we can try to fix it right away.
20. Price Changes
We reserve the right to adjust prices if the financial world gets messy.
21. Our Right to Decline
We may decline your booking. We don’t have to explain why but we promise it will be a valid reason (like you tried to pay us in Monopoly money).
22. Cancellation Charges
- 0–60 days before: 100% of trip cost
 - 60–80 days before: 75%
 - 80–100 days before: 50%
 - More than 100 days: 25%
 - Deposits: always non-refundable

23. Name Changes
Changing your name on a booking costs £50. Changing your name legally costs more — take that up with the government.
24. Travel Documents
You’re responsible for having a valid passport, visa, vaccinations and meds. Unfortunately, a cheese passport doesn’t count.
25. Our Providers
We use providers we’ve vetted before. If you have complaints, direct them through us.
26. Special Requests
Want gluten-free tapas? Have allergies, aversions or an obsession with only green M&Ms? Totally cool but only if you tell us when booking, not mid tour.
27. Photos and Videos
We reserve the right to use your glorious karaoke footage and vineyard selfies in our marketing. (Don’t worry, we only use the flattering ones.)
28. If Trips Change
If your trip is cancelled or altered, you’ll need to handle refunds with your airline. We’ll help where we can, but we don’t control flight paths.
29. UK Trips
If you leave early, get sick or drop out, you’re responsible for getting yourself home. Pack extra snacks and emergency dignity.
