So what’s this blog all about? Simple: wine, travel, and the delightful chaos that happens when you mix the two.
At Tipple Tours, we believe wine tourism should never feel like a dull lecture about “hints of gooseberry.” (What even is a gooseberry?) Instead, it should feel like stumbling into a vineyard party you didn’t know you were invited to - complete with enthusiastic locals, questionable dance moves and at least one babushka insisting you try her “special recipe” straight out of a recycled soda bottle.
This blog is our way of bottling up those adventures. One week we’ll be deep underground in Moldova’s endless wine cellars; the next, we’ll be clinking glasses in Armenia with a winemaker who looks like a prophet. Expect stories about vineyards, villages and very full glasses. Expect laughter. Expect tips you won’t find in guidebooks (like how to politely decline your seventh toast without starting an international incident).
In short: if you love wine, travel and stories that end with “and then things got weird,” you’re in the right place.
